Girl Scouts

The Housing Authority of Bowling Green has their own girl scout troop, Troop 1861. Girl Scouts contributes to girls’ academic success by helping them develop important leadership skills, such as resourceful problem solving and challenge seeking. This program helps girls learn not to avoid things that are hard for them, and this makes them better students.

Sewing Class

Our Sewing Classes allows students to learn basic terminology, to use a sewing machine, to sew basic seams and construct simple designs.

Phenix Place Stem Center

STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teach the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STEM integrates them into real-world applications.

HABG Inspirational Choir

The HABG Inspirational Choir started in 2018. They were invited to sing with Grammy Award winning artist Larnelle Harris at SKYPAC Per-forming Arts Center. The choir also performed at the Martin Luther King, Jr Ceremony. The choir is made up of both city and county school students.

Junior Sous Chef Program

Junior Sous Chef offers kids & teens to learn the skills and techniques they need to gain confidence in the kitchen. They will learn :
• Knife skills
• Bread baking
• Sauces
• Food handling, allergens, dietary restrictions
• Specific cooking techniques
• Measurements and conversions

Library Program

We are a satellite location for the Warren County Public Library. We have the ability for residents to check out /check in materials, reserve materials, fax and notarize.
